Macarena is a graphic designer and artist originally from Buenos Aires based on the US East Coast. She holds a Bachelor of Design from the University of Buenos Aires, where she also served as teaching assistant for Graphic Design III, Professor Gabriele.
Following the completion of her Bachelor's degree, she pursued studies in Film Directing at Universidad del Cine de Buenos Aires.
She is currently a graphic designer at The New York Times. Previously, she led the Design Team at Panorama Works, an agency based in Mexico City, and worked as a graphic designer at By All Means, a branding agency headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic.
